Job Description
Operations Manager - Distribution Center Lead High-Performing Teams. Drive Operational Excellence. Make an Impact. Sofo Foods of Georgia is looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to help shape the future of our growing distribution center. We re looking for a hands-on leader who can motivate others, solve challenges quickly, and deliver results! If you excel at leading operations, developing people, and creating efficient, accountable, and safety-focused workplaces, we want to hear from you. What You ll Do Lead and inspire supervisors, team leads, and warehouse associates to achieve operational excellence. Drive daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, fulfillment, and shipping. Improve productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance across the operation. Build a culture centered on teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Analyze operational metrics and implement smart, effective solutions. Oversee warehouse systems and operational technologies to support growth and service excellence. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, maintenance, and operational standards. What We re Looking For 5+ years of distribution or warehouse operations management experience. 3+ years leading teams in a distribution center environment. Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder or BFC Dakota is preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, physically active warehouse environment.
