Job Description
Aloha Roadway Services is seeking a dependable and organized Operations Supervisor to help oversee daily field operations, support crews, and ensure job sites are running safely and efficiently. Position Overview The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for checking job sites in the morning, confirming employee attendance, assisting with equipment and vehicle needs, issuing PPE, completing write-ups or disciplinary documentation when needed, and helping with scheduling as required. This role will also involve roving between different job sites throughout the day to monitor progress, support crews, and address operational needs. Schedule Monday to Friday 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM Weekend work may be available or required as needed. Key Responsibilities Visit and check job sites each morning to ensure crews are prepared and operations are running smoothly Confirm employee attendance and report any staffing issues Rove between multiple job sites throughout the day to provide support and oversight Take company trucks and vehicles in for service or maintenance as needed Issue PPE and ensure employees have the proper safety equipment Complete employee write-ups and disciplinary action documentation when necessary Assist with potential scheduling needs and crew coordination Communicate with management regarding job site issues, staffing concerns, equipment needs, and safety matters Help ensure company policies, safety standards, and job site expectations are being followed Support daily operations and help resolve issues in the field Qualifications Previous supervisory, field operations, construction, traffic control, or roadway experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work early mornings and travel between job sites Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable handling attendance, documentation, and employee accountability Valid driver's license required Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced field environment. This person should be able to lead by example, communicate clearly with crews and management, and help keep daily operations organized and on track.
