The Solar Operations Admin role is a fast-paced support position focused on assisting drivers, customers, and internal teams through strong communication, organization, and daily operational coordination. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively while working independently in a dynamic environment. Candidates with administrative, customer service, logistics, or operations experience may transition well into this role, especially those who take initiative, communicate professionally, and thrive in a team-oriented setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure accuracy in data entry and maintain up-to-date customer information Provide phone support to customers and drivers while collaborating with other departments to exchange relevant information regarding support services Assist with general administrative tasks, including scanning, email correspondence, phone communications, and organizing physical and digital files Manage and maintain the organization of Solar Driver supplies Respond professionally and effectively to the needs and requests of clients, customers, management, and staff Comply with all company policies and procedures Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor's Degree preferred
Qualifications:
Experience 1+ years' experience in the Transportation or Logistics industry preferred
Qualifications:
Competencies Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing. Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$20.00 - $21.50/hourly The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Solar considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
