Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is searching for an organized and experienced Administrative Operations Manager to oversee daily office operations and provide leadership and support to an administrative team for a company located in Dubuque, IA. This position will help ensure the office runs efficiently while maintaining accurate records, strong communication, and consistent processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily administrative and office operations and ensure priorities are completed accurately and on time. Lead, train, and support administrative staff while establishing clear procedures and expectations. Manage scheduling, communications, correspondence, records, files, and general office organization. Handle administrative financial responsibilities including invoices, billing, deposits, reconciliations, and expense tracking. Assist with payroll, timekeeping, benefits administration, onboarding, and employee documentation. Coordinate meetings, projects, vendors, office supplies, and maintenance. Develop and maintain procedures, training materials, forms, and other resources to improve efficiency. Serve as a point of contact for customers, employees, vendors, and other business contacts. Maintain confidentiality and ensure company policies and procedures are followed. Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and overall office efficiency. Provide administrative support to leadership and other departments as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in office management, administrative leadership, or a similar role. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lead, train, and work effectively with others. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable handling financial and confidential information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common office software. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
