Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Stain Shop Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our finishing shop. This role is responsible for managing production, leading a team, coordinating schedules, and maintaining strong communication with vendors, contractors, and internal teams. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can organize and lead while keeping projects moving efficiently and maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities Oversee daily shop operations, workflow, and scheduling.- Lead and support shop team members (training, accountability, and retention) Coordinate color matching, finishing processes, and quality control. Communicate with contractors, superintendents, and internal teams. Manage vendor relationships, materials, and inventory. Prepare estimates and assist with job costing. Ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard. Qualifications Leadership or management experience required. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.- Experience in painting, finishing, construction, or production environments preferred.
