This job is a member of the Hubs & Gateways Team within the Customer Experience Division.
Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and controlling all aspects of transferring baggage and the baggage handling system.
What youll do
Responsible for achieving and assuring safe, efficient and economical utilization of resources
Recommends policy and procedure changes as necessary to ensure safe and efficient operations
Develops and maintains reports
Obtains information pertinent to the operation and ensures necessary information is disseminated to appropriate departments and personnel to ensure connection of baggage and BHS programming
Procures the necessary material, manpower and equipment to complete projects

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalency
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
Knowledge of Company policies and procedures
May require knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and familiarity of operations
Good computer skills and familiarity with computer applications
May require knowledge of DECS and Res commands
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to work with others as part of a team and to obtain information from others or gain their participation in problem resolution
