SALARY RANGE
- $80,000-$110,000
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
- Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Agronomy Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operations of all Agronomy facilities to maximize efficiency and profitability and supervise and direct all Location Managers and provide support for all company marketing objectives to achieve company profitability goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supervise, lead, and direct all Agronomy Location Managers.
- Develop and implement operations management plans including management communications.
- Continual management and regular timely evaluations of people and structure.
- Assist in management of fixed assets, inventories, and location expenses to achieve maximum efficiency and have updated job descriptions and make sure all operational personnel receive performance evaluations and performance standards.
- Promote teamwork between all departments and locations and with all TGM personnel and locations.
- Develop and implement efficiency metrics for agronomy applications.
- Seek, implement, and maintain technology applications for equipment.
- Responsible to see that safety rules, safety programs and environmental objectives are followed and are part of everyday activities of all supervised personnel.
- Develop individual location plans to make sure all facilities and equipment are clean, equipment is neatly parked, driveways are maintained, all weeds and grass is controlled, and paint and repairs are done on a timely basis.
- Follow-up on patron complaints dealing with operations personnel.
- Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.
- Attends all required meetings and training programs.
- Support the
GROWMARK
System.- Assist and support all other staff members and help with company meetings and functions.
- Develop individual area budgets and participate in all company budget development.
- Must obtain and maintain Class A CDL license with hazmat, tank and air brake endorsements.
- Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
- Ability to work hours beyond those considered normal.
- Other duties as assigned.
