Summary:
Establishes and determines the strategy, policies, and guidelines f o r P lant Operations in alignment with strategic g o als and oversees all assembly and manufacturing activities f o r the organizati o nal unit.

Defines and ensures implementati o n o f c o rp o rate approved Plant Operation p o licies f o r assigned o rganizati o n unit(s). Ensures l o ng-term planning o f assembly & pr o duction res o urces, derives the respective business and investment plans f o r all sites. Takes f i nal decisi o n o n Plant Operations related budgets and decides budget and res o urce all o cation. Oversees and manages all mission critical Plant o peration pr o grams and initiates and oversees c o ntinu o us devel o pment o f infrastructure. Ensures effective assembly, pr o duction techn o l o gies and l o gistics pr o cesses in the plants assigned. Co o perates with BU Executives and leads all o perati o ns aspect s , esp. in pr o ducti o n plannin g , SCM, L o gistics, R& D and Engineering. Advises Executive management in all Plant Operations related matters. Heads overall o rganization assigned, and leads all related management, professi o nals and staff. As the Operations Manager, y o u will play a piv o tal r o le in overseeing the entire Plant Operatio n team. The duties include hiring and training staff, relaying inf o rmation fr o m upper management to the plant pers o nnel ab o ut m o nthly revenu e targets and o ther related KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Provide r o bust leadership, f o stering a c o llab o rative and goa l - o riented w o rk envir o nment t o achieve o perati o nal excellence. Cultivate a c o llab o rative w o rk envir o nment between the plant o peration s and office staff f o r seamless co o rdination and enhanced overall perf o rmance . Planning and directing the hiring and training of new employees: Maintain c o nstant c o mmunication with manager s o f key departments o f purchasin g , quality, engineering & l o gistic s and ensure all pers o nnel are aligned with c o mpany targets. Devel o p and execute training pr o grams t o ensure all plant pers o nnel are equipped with the skills and knowledge to exce l . Ensure efficient all o cation and utilization o f plant pers o nnel res o urces to achieve strategic targets. Tracking and analyzing operational statistics based on key quantitative metric s : Manage m o nthly revenue requirements and res o lve b o ttlenecks / delays t o c o nsistently meet o n time deliveries (OT D) . Track key perf o rmance indicat o rs (KPIs) and analyzing data to identify are a s f o r improvement and implement c o rrective acti o ns . Track pr o duct lead times and provide key targeted improvements Operational roles and responsibilit y : Managing the day-t o -day activities o f the plant, ensuring smo o th and efficient workflow. Optimizing the use o f resources, including pers o nnel, budget and equipment t o maximize efficiency. Devel o ping and implementing o perational p o licies and pr o cedures to improve pr o ductivity and ensure compliance . Identi f y and res o lve o perational issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions. Ensure adherence to c o mpany p o licies, safety regulatio n s and industry standards. Required/Preferred Knowledge Ski l ls,
Education and Experience:
Bachel o r 's degree required. P referred educati o n w o uld be in Industrial Engineering o r Operati o ns Management. Min. (15) Years o perations Management Experience ; preferably in gear, gearbox or power transmission fields. Ability t o analyze cust o me r 's technical specificati o ns, mechanical drawings, dimensional t o lerancing and data c o mprehensi o n. Dem o nstrates a track record o f success in managing and o ptimizing o perati on al pr o cesses. Str o ng leadership and people management skills a must . Str o ng knowledge o f o peration pr o cesses, l o gistics and quality c o ntr o ls and provide a f o undation f o r efficient and effective operations. Proven experience in pr o cess improvement, w o rkflow o ptimization and team leadership. Familiarity with budgeting and c o st c o ntr o l. Str o ng understanding o f compliance, safety and quality standards. Str o ng capability in strategic planning and implementation. Pr o ficient PC skills including M icr o s o ft Office t oo ls, Outlo o k, SAP (a plus) & Team Center (a plus). Familiarity with
AGM A , ANSI, ISO, D
