$120,000 base salary + up to $30,000 performance bonus About the Role Bisa Lina is hiring a Director of Retail Operations to oversee both our Joliet and Carol Stream dispensary locations. We are looking for a sharp, polished, detail-oriented leader who can manage every part of the retail operation — from front-of-house customer experience to back-of-house systems, compliance, inventory, scheduling, training, and sales execution. This role is for someone with the mindset of a luxury hospitality General Manager, but with the discipline of a strong operations leader. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming, high-end customer experience while running the business with structure, accountability, and strong systems behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for both Bisa Lina Joliet and Bisa Lina Carol Stream. Float between both locations to support teams, managers, and store execution. Manage hiring, firing, training, coaching, scheduling, and employee accountability. Ensure excellent customer service and a polished hospitality-style experience. Enforce company SOPsOPs, store standards, and operational systems. Monitor sales goals, promotions, customer flow, and team performance. Oversee inventory accuracy, product handling, and compliance procedures. Support vendor events, brand pop-ups, customer appreciation events, raffles, and promotions. Identify operational problems and create practical solutions quickly. Maintain a clean, professional, organized, and high-performing retail environment. Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is: Professional, attentive, and highly detail-oriented. Strong in hospitality, leadership, and customer service. Comfortable managing employees across multiple locations. Able to hold people accountable while keeping the team motivated. Calm under pressure and able to solve problems fast. Hands-on, present, and willing to be involved in store operations. Strong with systems, scheduling, SOPs, inventory, compliance, and sales execution. Capable of creating a luxury hospitality feel in the front of the house while maintaining disciplined operations in the back of the house. Qualifications Bachelor's degree recommended. Degree in Business, Hospitality, Operations, Retail Management, or a related field preferred. Multi-unit retail, hospitality, cannabis, or customer-facing operations experience preferred. Cannabis dispensary experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel between Joliet and Carol Stream locations as needed. Flexible full-time availability, including some evenings, weekends, events, and peak business periods.
