Job Description
Director of Operations - Oncology, Hematology, Radiation Oncology Full-Time, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday; Hours will vary.
Location:
Lisle; Will require travel in between Duly locations on a regular basis.Benefits:

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Strategic & Operational Leadership- Provides comprehensive operational leadership for hematology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology services across the Brian Moran Cancer Institute.
- Partners with physician leaders, operational leaders and providers to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on access, growth, quality, patient experience, and operational performance.
- Leads service line initiatives to optimize workflows, improve patient throughput, enhance care coordination, and standardize operational best practices across all locations.
- Supports the continued development and expansion of oncology services, research opportunities, and multidisciplinary care models.
- Collaborates with medical, surgical, research, and ancillary service leaders to ensure integrated and coordinated oncology care delivery. Leadership & Team Development
- Provides direct leadership, mentorship, and accountability for practice managers, supervisors, and other operational leaders across oncology service lines.
- Oversees operational support for advanced practice providers and clinic-based teams in collaboration with physician and clinical leadership.
- Fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, communication, and professional growth across interdisciplinary teams.
- Builds strong relationships with physicians and clinical dyad partners to support alignment between operational and clinical priorities.
- Promotes employee engagement, retention, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives. Financial & Performance Management
- Develops, manages, and monitors operational budgets, capital planning, productivity targets, and financial performance metrics across oncology operations.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve operational efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and support financial sustainability while maintaining exceptional patient care.
- Utilizes data-driven insights and analytics to evaluate program performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitors key operational metrics including access, utilization, staffing, patient satisfaction, throughput, and quality outcomes. Quality & Patient Experience
- Develops, implements and maintains policy and procedure applicable to oncology operations.
- Supports quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient-centered care delivery.
- Partners with leadership teams to enhance the patient and caregiver experience throughout the continuum of oncology care.
- Supports multidisciplinary care coordination models and navigation programs that improve access and continuity of care for oncology patients. Direct Reports

- Operational support staff across oncology service lines
- Advanced Practice Providers (operational oversight in partnership with physician leadership)
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred.
- Clinical leaders including RNs and APPs are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in oncology, infusion, or multi-site ambulatory healthcare operations required.
- Demonstrated experience leading outpatient medical oncology and/or radiation oncology operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of physician practice management, oncology workflows, and multidisciplinary cancer care delivery.
- Experience managing operational budgets, productivity, staffing models, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead large, interdisciplinary teams in a complex healthcare environment.
