Operations Coordinator (2nd Shift) About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented Operations Coordinator (2nd Shift) to support in‑transit security operations for high‑value and life sciences freight in a fast‑paced logistics environment. This role plays a critical part during evening hours by monitoring sensitive shipments, mitigating risk in real time, and ensuring consistent communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and track high‑value and temperature‑sensitive shipments throughout transit to ensure security and compliance Identify potential risks or disruptions and take appropriate action to mitigate issues in real time Provide timely, context‑aware updates to customers regarding shipment status, exceptions, and resolutions Coordinate closely with internal operations teams to maintain shipment integrity from pickup through delivery Confirm and document key shipment milestones, including arrivals, departures, scripts, and proof of delivery Monitor shipments across multiple systems to ensure rapid response to customer inquiries and service needs Investigate and escalate suspicious activity related to customer freight as needed Ensure all required documentation, including temperature reports, photos, and PODs, is accurately uploaded and distributed Maintain accurate records within tracking and transportation systems to support compliance and billing Update customer portals and systems based on customer‑specific requirements 1455507_1776462994
