Job Description

Innovative Staff Solutions has a new direct hire opportunity for a Operations Manager with one of our clients in the Mattoon, IL area!
Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the operational aspects of the credit union, including branch operations, lending, IT services and member programs. The Operations Manager reports to and works collaboratively with President/CEO to ensure cohesive operations throughout the branch.
Duties include:
Provides exceptional member service. Proficient in all aspects of member service including deposits, withdrawals, opening accounts and facilitating member account needs. Direct and supervise operational staff, including training, scheduling of front-line staff, supervision of front-line staff, providing guidance and training about credit union policies and procedures to staff. Loan officer duties include full spectrum of lending skills from answering member questions about loans to accepting and processing loan applications, decisioning loan requests, completing loan papers and finalizing loan with members. Also included is monitoring loan delinquency and speaking to members about their delinquent loans. Responsible for supervision of ACH transactions including setting up ACH payments for loans, daily ACH balancing. Other duties include posting district payroll deduction batches. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit union policies and procedures and how they relate to federal and state regulations including NCUA and IDFPR while ensuring all operations comply with applicable laws. proficiency in financial technologies, operational systems and lending tools. Strong problem-solving, decision making and solution-oriented skills to drive operational efficiency and member satisfaction. Completes other duties as assigned including special projects. In summary, the Operations Manager is an executive role that combines expertise, operational management and strategic planning to ensure the credit union operates efficiently while delivering exceptional service to credit union members.
