Job Description

Busy independent family medical practice seeking an experienced, organized, and proactive Medical Office Operations Manager to help oversee and support daily office operations alongside current leadership. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient workflows, supporting staff and providers, improving patient experience, and ensuring the office runs smoothly day-to-day. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, problem-solver, and team player who can balance staff support, operational oversight, patient relations, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Assist with oversight of daily medical office operations Coordinate and manage staff schedules and workflow Address and resolve patient concerns professionally and efficiently Support employee relations and assist with team communication Conduct and organize monthly staff meetings Monitor office efficiency and implement workflow improvements Assist with billing issues, claims follow-up, adjustments, and write-offs Run and review accounts receivable (AR) reports Maintain compliance standards, policies, and credentialing requirements Keep employee personnel files, licenses, and certifications up to date Coordinate communication between providers, nursing staff, and front office staff Order and maintain office and medical supplies Assist with building maintenance coordination and IT-related needs Research and implement technology and AI solutions to improve office efficiency Provide support coverage when staffing shortages occur Promote a positive team environment and maintain staff morale
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
