Salary:
$70,000 per year Bonus Plan (Detail to be provided) 2.

A company vehicle is provided for use during business hours 3.

Business Casual with Logo Shirt (Shirts provided) Position Summary The Director of Mitigation Operations is the primarily liaison for all aspects of business operations for the organization. This would include the development of Restoration Project Management (RPM) and technicians throughout the organization. To improve the relationship between our customers, the insurance company and the insured who has experienced damage to their property. This position is also responsible for maintaining and overseeing project management, customer quality, customer satisfaction, billing, revenue growth, financial budgets, employee hiring, training, morale, retention, discipline/firing, and recurring customer lists. Reporting Relationships This position reports directly to the President of the organization. Principal Accountabilities/Essential Functions  Training, developing and coaching for continual improvement of the RPM's and operations staff.  Responsible for leading restoration project managers and personally sell/market ServiceMaster Restore services to commercial customers, residential customers, agents and adjusters in assigned area to establish strong working relationship.  Represent our company so that the ServiceMaster Restore image is enhanced in the eyes of all customers and employees at all times and to promote outstanding service.  Responsible for interviewing and hiring new operations and production staff.  Completes disciplinary action when necessary with advice from leadership.  Responsible to assist the Client Service Representatives (CSR's) to ensure all industry guidelines and requirements are fulfilled within the allotted time required by SLA and VPass.  Assist with management of operations project board and Project Management software daily.  Will have on-call responsibilities and manage the on-call rotation for RPM's and operations staff.  Assist RPM's with estimates and manage projects as assigned following established policies or standard operating procedures. Requires expert level knowledge of Xactimate Estimating Software and Time & Materials Pricing.  Responsible for personally managing individual projects and large commercial losses.  Ensure timely completion of all project work and national account assignments to ensure the best quality service in the country.  Audit files for completeness, accuracy, and to ensure all work is invoiced.  Responsible for absolute adherence to all preferred vendor program guidelines to the letter. - No deviations.  Timely respond and appropriately resolve any Customer Service complaints.  Ensures that all equipment and vehicles are clean, in good repair, properly utilized, neatly organized and well stocked with supplies.  Maintain and improve on established revenue goals.  Maintain and improve on profit goals.  Maintain and improve company performance of SLA, VPass, & Cycle Time scores.  Complete and maintain all required certifications and training.  Ensure that all company projects maintain proper documentation per company guidelines.  Assist with collections on past due customer accounts, as needed.  Maintain availability to our customers and the staff.  Responsible for all scheduling of operations staff for a 24X7X365 emergency industry.  Responsible to ensure operations is ready to travel at a moment's notice.  Travel for specific periods of time for commercial and large event loss situations.  Other duties as assigned by Leadership of the company. Freedom to act/accountability The Director of Mitigation Operations is accountable for processing and maintaining accurate project records, customer service, and support. Following ServiceMaster Restore approved protocols, the Director of Mitigation Operations has the authority to process all assigned work orders, billing, and accounting documents. Following ServiceMaster Restore approved protocols the Director of Mitigation Operations has the authority to manage projects and ensure outstanding service. The Director of Mitigation Operations cannot without authorization sign contracts or deviate from company policies or standard operating procedures. Working Relationships/Contacts The Director of Mitigation Operations has daily contact with customers, employees, contractors, labors, managers, and executives.
Position Requirements Knowledge & Experience:
Previous experience managing supervisors or managers is a requirement. Must possess project management, sales skills, good customer service, time management, and organization. Must be an excellent communicator and leader. Must demonstrate an understanding of budgets, accounting terms and P&L statements.
Skills:
Must be able to create written communication without major editing. Must possess excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to estimate value of a project. Firm understanding of financials and budgeting is essential. Working knowledge of basic office equipment. Must be familiar with technology such as operating systems (Windows and Office suite), Customer Relationship Management software and Project Management software. Must become the resident expert of the company for industry specific software. Must have a valid driver license with a reasonable driving record. Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving violence or theft. Must be able to pass a drug test. Working Conditions Insurance Repair is a fast-paced high-pressure position. Standard office and in field conditions, fast-paced work, variable workload with variable hours and days. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand, and walk for an extended period of time. Able to work in cold, hot, dusty, dirty, and wet conditions. Able to work in smoke and odor areas. Comfortable working on ladders and confined areas.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
