Duties Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system oversight to ensure smooth transactions. Lead, train, and supervise retail staff on customer service excellence, sales techniques, inventory management, and safety protocols. Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and onboarding processes to build a motivated and skilled team. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote a collaborative work environment. Monitor inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising standards, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Implement operational policies related to payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store procedures while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Experience Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team supervision and store operations. Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, inventory management tools, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations. Strong leadership skills with experience in training & development, team management, and managerial communication. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customer bases. Prior experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation programs, and supervising staff is essential. Knowledge of retail industry sales strategies including merchandising, pricing adjustments, and promotional activities. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities such as shift management, scheduling, and time management effectively.
