Job Description

Job Summary:
The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned Boys & Girls Club site. This includes managing staff and volunteers, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for youth, coordinating programs, maintaining compliance with policies, and fostering positive relationships with Club members, families, schools, and the community. The Site Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring that all youth have access to high-quality programming that supports academic success, character development, and healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Operations Management Oversee daily Club operations and ensure all scheduled programs are delivered effectively and on time. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all youth, staff, and visitors. Coordinate special events, field trips, and activities that enhance the Club experience. Monitor program effectiveness and youth engagement; provide feedback to improve outcomes. Staff Supervision & Support Supervise, schedule, and support site staff and volunteers. Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to staff. Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations. Youth Development & Safety Build positive relationships with Club members and promote positive behavior. Ensure proper supervision of youth at all times and adherence to safety protocols. Handle behavior management issues in a fair, consistent, and supportive manner. Monitor the implementation of safety protocols and emergency procedures. Cleaning & Facility Oversight Ensure daily cleaning and sanitation of common areas, program spaces, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces. Oversee and assist with trash removal, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting tables and equipment, and maintaining restroom supplies. Report any facility maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate staff. Coordinate with staff to complete end-of-day cleaning routines and ensure the site is secured at closing. Administration & Compliance Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, program participation, and reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with Boys & Girls Club policies, licensing regulations, and funding requirements. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and school personnel as needed. Communicate regularly with the administration office in regard to the CACFP and CCAP programs Community Engagement Act as the site's representative and build strong relationships with families, schools, and community partners. Promote Club programs and events through outreach and engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Youth Development, or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth in an educational or recreational setting. Experience supervising staff or leading teams Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire. Must pass background checks in accordance with BGCR policies. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people and maintain a positive and supportive environment. Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and familiarity with data management systems. Ability to work afternoons and early evenings (typically 12:00 PM - 6:30 PM or as scheduled per site).
Work Environment:
Fast-paced youth development environment; must be able to adapt to changing needs. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.), standing, walking, and participation in physical activities required. Travel between Club sites and to community events may be required.

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
