Requirements:
Previous plumbing management or supervisory experience required Extensive knowledge of residential and commercial sewer, water, and underground plumbing systems Proven experience creating residential and commercial plumbing estimates Strong understanding of permitting processes, municipal requirements, inspections, and project coordination Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills Demonstrated sales ability with experience closing bids and developing customer relationships Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, teams, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience with ServiceTitan is highly preferred A Plumbing License is a Plus!
Position Summary:
Capps Plumbing & Sewer is seeking an experienced Sewer & Water Manager to lead our growing division while earning $120,000•135,000 annually. This leadership role oversees operations, team development, project execution, profitability, and customer satisfaction across residential and commercial sewer and water projects. Core Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all daily operations of the Sewer & Water Division, including scheduling, workflow management, and project execution. Supervise, mentor, and hold accountable field and office personnel while fostering a high-performance team culture. Diagnose sewer and water system issues, develop repair solutions, and create accurate residential and commercial estimates. Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, commercial clients, municipalities, property managers, and business partners. Manage permits, inspections, project documentation, and ensure compliance with local codes, municipal requirements, and company standards. Coordinate projects with dispatch, management, field teams, and customers to ensure timely and efficient completion. Monitor department performance, productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction while identifying opportunities for improvement. Attend client, board, and project meetings to provide professional guidance and support business development efforts. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Provide operational reporting, administrative oversight, and emergency support as needed.
