Company Description Veteran Hauling is a veteran-owned junk removal and hauling/demolition company serving businesses, property managers, and individuals in the South Central Indiana area. We are known for dependable service and "military precision" in planning and executing hauling projects. Veteran Hauling focuses on providing efficient, respectful, and professional support to clients who need help clearing out spaces or managing large clean-up jobs. We value reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic, creating a culture that emphasizes teamwork and service. Currently, we are in growth mode, looking for the right individual to help improve operations and efficiencies. Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus Indiana, responsible for overseeing daily junk removal and hauling operations. This role includes coordinating crews and schedules, monitoring job progress, and ensuring that services are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards. The Operations Manager will manage logistics such as routing trucks, planning workloads, and optimizing use of equipment and resources. They will handle customer and partner communications for operational issues, support field teams with problem-solving, and maintain compliance with company policies and safety procedures. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, identifying process improvements, assisting with hiring and training team members, and collaborating with leadership to support growth goals. The position is physical, too. Assisting with jobs and teams is required at times, especially during new hire training.
