Job Description
Job Summary The Business Operations Manager is responsible for independently managing the company's day-to-day operations across administration, finance, and human resources in a small-sized organization. This role requires a hands-on professional who can handle multiple functions with full ownership, ensuring smooth operations, accurate financial reporting, and effective personnel management. Fluency in Korean is required for internal communication and operational coordination. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations & Administration Independently manage daily business operations including corporate housing, rental vehicles, office facilities, and general administrative functions Handle vendor coordination, contract management, and service arrangements Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure cost efficiency Establish and maintain practical operational workflows suited for a small organization 2. Finance & Accounting Manage all routine financial activities including expense tracking, invoice processing, and payment execution Prepare weekly financial reports and internal summaries for management review Track cash flow and support basic budgeting and cost control Liaise with external accountants/CPAs for tax filing and compliance 3. Human Resources Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, documentation) Coordinate payroll and benefits administration Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with internal policies and labor regulations Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related administrative matters 4. General Management & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Maintain organized documentation across all business functions Provide operational and financial insights to support management decision-making Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field 2+ years of relevant experience in operations, finance, administration, or HR Ability to manage multiple functions independently in a small organization Strong attention to detail and execution capability Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office tools Fluency in Korean and English (required) Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a small or startup environment Familiarity with U.S. business operations, accounting, or HR practices Experience managing vendors, contracts, and administrative operations independently Work Style Self-driven and highly accountable Hands-on, practical, and execution-focused Comfortable working independently with minimal structure
