About the Role As a Field Operations Project Lead, you will spearhead the lifecycle of complex industrial and commercial installations across diverse sites. By leveraging your expertise in construction management and technical trades, you will drive operational success, ensuring every project meets rigorous quality benchmarks and performance outcomes. Responsibilities Direct the full project lifecycle from initial planning and pre-construction to final site closeout. Optimize project profitability by meticulously monitoring labor hours, material expenses, and job costs. Cultivate strong client relationships through transparent communication, proactive status reporting, and expert management of change orders. Mentor and supervise field teams and subcontractors to foster a culture of high-performance and professional development. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards, including OSHA compliance, through regular site audits. Coordinate daily field logistics, including resource allocation and material procurement, to maintain aggressive project timelines. Analyze operational metrics and KPIs to refine workflows and improve overall project delivery efficiency. Qualifications Required Skills 5-7 years of experience managing skilled trades projects in industrial or commercial environments. Proficiency in industry-standard project management software such as Procore or Microsoft Project. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex blueprints and construction documentation. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on vendor management and cost control. Flexibility to travel extensively to various project sites and work extended hours as required. Valid driver's license and ability to navigate active construction environments. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience with Lean methodologies such as Kaizen or Six Sigma. Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and advanced quality control data analysis. Proven track record in managing large-scale mechanical, electrical, or pipefitting installations.
