Levy Sector The Director of Operations provides strategic and hands‑on leadership for food, beverage, and hospitality operations at Purdue University, driving operational excellence, team development, and an elevated guest experience in partnership with campus stakeholders

Job Summary This individual will manage the food service operation and maintain established costs and quality standards in order to ensure superior service and maximize profits.Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates the tasks of the Assistant Directors and Operations Managers Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises functions and activities of the department Establishes work standards and work flow Establishes and implements policies and procedures for departmental operations Directs and conducts safety, sanitation and community maintenance programs Maintains excellent relationships with employees, guests and client as well as other departments within the operation Performs other duties as assignedQualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred At least 3 years of relevant work experience Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through skills Ability to utilize a participative approach to managing staff Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Curious about Life at Levy?Check it out:
