Job Description
Wilroads Feedyard is seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee daily feedyard operations. The successful candidate will provide leadership in cattle care, feed operations, employee management, equipment maintenance, safety, and overall operational performance. Responsibilities Lead daily feedyard operations Supervise and develop a bilingual workforce Oversee cattle health, receiving, processing, and shipping Manage feed mill, feed delivery, and facility maintenance Promote a strong culture of safety, animal welfare, and accountability Monitor operational performance and key production metrics Qualifications 5-10 years of commercial feedyard experience , including supervisory or management responsibilities Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of cattle health, nutrition, feedyard operations, and equipment maintenance Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Experience with AccuTrac or similar feedyard software is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health and Dental insurance Benefits package available If you are a motivated leader who values teamwork, operational excellence, and animal care, we encourage you to apply.
