Job Description

Position Summary The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily workforce operations at assigned client sites, ensuring fulfillment of staffing needs, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, and driving employee performance, retention, and compliance. This role serves as the primary link between field employees, clients, and internal recruiting teams. Key Responsibilities Client & Account Management Serve as the on-site or primary point of contact for assigned clients Ensure fulfillment of daily/weekly staffing orders and adjust based on volume fluctuations Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and site visits Address and resolve service issues, escalations, and performance concerns Workforce Management Supervise and manage contingent workforce (attendance, productivity, behavior) Conduct new hire orientations, onboarding, and training coordination Monitor headcount, turnover, and absenteeism; implement strategies to improve retention Ensure proper timekeeping, payroll accuracy, and attendance tracking Recruiting & Staffing Coordination Partner with recruiting teams to forecast hiring needs and maintain pipeline Participate in hiring events, interviews, and candidate selection when needed Ensure candidates meet client-specific requirements and compliance standards Performance & Metrics Track KPIs such as fill rate, retention, attendance, and productivity Analyze data to identify trends and implement process improvements Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to company policies, client requirements, and labor laws Promote a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols Handle incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in staffing, workforce management, or operations supervision Experience managing high-volume hourly workforce (light industrial, warehouse, manufacturing preferred) Strong understanding of staffing metrics (fill rate, turnover, billable hours, etc.) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Proficiency in MS Office and staffing/ATS systems Preferred Skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience with VMS/MSP programs Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards Work Environment Combination of office and on-site client environment May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call availability High-volume, fast-paced setting with changing priorities
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
