Since 2013, we have been dedicated to serving high-quality products and fostering a welcoming environment across our cafés, drive-thrus, and wholesale programs. About the Role We are seeking a high-accountability Retail Manager to lead and elevate all retail operations across Café (Front of House-FOH), Bakery (Back of House-BOH), catering, and our Newton Express drive-thru. This is a leadership role responsible for driving revenue, optimizing scheduling and operational systems, developing people, and ensuring a consistently excellent customer experience. What You'll Own Oversee daily operations across FOH, BOH, catering, and Express locations Ensure smooth, efficient, and structured shifts Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and workflow Hire, train, and develop baristas and shift leads Manage labor scheduling, inventory, and operational costs Drive revenue growth through team performance and customer engagement Ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience Build and maintain operational systems, checklists, and processes Own weekly scorecards, scheduling, and accountability systems What We're Looking For
  • Required Experience
  • 2+ yrs in coffee, hospitality, or retail mgmt Experience managing teams of 5-15+ Strong background in scheduling, inventory, and ordering Demonstrated ownership of financial or operational metrics
  • Preferred Experience
  • Specialty coffee background Experience managing multiple locations Experience improving operational systems Training and team development experience Familiarity with Traction/EOS systems What Success Looks Like Retail sales increase by 10-15% year-over-year Labor cost consistently within target range Product quality scores at 90%+ Measurable reduction in waste Strong team retention (85%+ at 90 days) Customer satisfaction maintained at 4.

Working Conditions & Requirements Fast-paced coffee and retail environment Standing and walking for extended periods Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional assisted lifting up to 100 lbs Valid driver's license required Ability to travel between Wichita, Newton, and catering locations as needed Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
