Job Description:
This is a professional position responsible for assisting the Senior Associate A.D. for Facility & Event Management with all phases of game-day operations.
Specific responsibilities include:
Support ticketing operations for the department of athletics, including season tickets for volleyball, wrestling, and women's & men's basketball. Create ticketing initiatives and promotions to drive attendance at non-revenue sports. Assist in game-day operations for various sports, including event setup/break down, safety/security, housekeeping, visiting team and officials hospitality, and other duties. Aid in various special events as needed. Assist the Senior Associate A.D. for Facility & Event Management in athletic-related rentals of athletic facilities, including contract formation, representing the department at day-of-event, and billing reconciliation. Work with on-campus partners when university events require athletic facilities for events that support the university's mission. Ensure that all events overseen meet Bellarmine, NCAA, and conference standards and expectations. Assist in maintaining and upkeep of athletic facilities to ensure they are up to safety standards and expectations. Develop and maintain emergency action plans for all athletic facilities. Assist the Senior Associate A.D. for Facility & Event Management in the day-to-day administrative duties. Assist the athletics department with operational duties assigned by the Director of Athletics or his/her designee.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required Experience in a collegiate athletic environment. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written skills. Possess a willingness and ability to support and promote a diverse and inclusive campus community
