POSITION SUMMARY

Plans, organizes, and oversee' s operation functions within the organization to ensure that policies and procedures are followed from day to day.

POSITION DETAILS

Assist in planning a daily production schedule, working closely with the production team to ensure jobs are able to meet the customer on time deliveries demands. Review and assist with production as needed on scheduling staffing as needed Determine the material resources required Manage human and material resources to meet production targets Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures Set production goals and ensure the goals are being met. Determine and implement improvements to the production process Prepare and maintain production reports Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee all activities within Operations, this includes interviewing, hiring, training, planning, receiving, picking, production, shipping, inventory, etc.: Responsible for managing performance of associates through in and out put. Responsible for assuring the training of new associates within the operation teams. Addressing employee issues or concerns as they arise according to company policy. Ensure processes and procedures are being followed by departments. To ensure Vista's core responsibilities are upheld on a day-to-day operation. End of day result, to produce a quality product to the end user, within a timely manner.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Expected to be on the floor 8 hours a day to accurately monitor the floor and ensure team stays on track. Must be proficient with the Warehouse Management System Good written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to communicate directly with the customer.
