Description This position is responsible for : Plans, projects, and provides administrative and managerial support for a selected Corps location.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervises, monitors, and evaluates all operations within the location to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished and to confirm adherence to established policies and procedures. Ensures the United Way and other grant funding documentation is prepared and funds are administered appropriately. Serves as liaison and technical resource, external organizations, Advisory Board, Advisory Councils, and Executive Committees regarding the Corps business and programs. Assumes additional responsibilities at the direction of the Divisional Secretary for Program; serves as Salvation Army representative in the community to link Salvation Army programs to outside entities to promote The Salvation Army within the community.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for extended periods of time when reading and preparing reports or resolving operational problems. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or a related field, And five years progressively responsible experience in managing business and financial affairs of a complex, multi-functional organization, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
