Job Description
Part-time:
2-3 days per week What You'll Do Lead a crew of 6-10 employees on daily field operations. Coordinate 3-4 work boats on Louisiana lakes and waterways. Navigate using GPS and maintain daily routes. Communicate with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDWF) regarding operations and schedules. Operate or supervise aquatic vegetation treatment projects. Ensure safe and efficient operations on the water. We're Looking For Someone Who Has experience fishing, boating, or working on the water. Is comfortable operating boats and reading GPS. Can lead a crew and make good decisions in the field. Has strong communication and organizational skills. Enjoys working outdoors in all types of weather. Has a valid driver's license (preferred). Physical Requirements Work from a boat for up to 8 hours . Lift up to 50 pounds . Work in heat, humidity, cold, wind, and other outdoor conditions. Paid training and certifications are provided.
