Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee janitorial operations and employees across multiple customer locations Recruit, hire, train, coach and develop janitorial team members Visit assigned customer sites regularly to ensure service and quality standards are being met Build relationships with customers and quickly resolve service concerns Manage employee schedules and staffing while maintaining established labor budgets Conduct quality-control inspections and ensure required site visits are completed Lead new-hire orientation, safety training and ongoing job training Review employee performance and create development or improvement plans as needed Identify opportunities for additional services within assigned customer accounts Maintain required operational documentation, including time sheets, training records, work orders, incident reports and supply/equipment orderQUALIFICATIONS
(MUST HAVE): High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial industry Business level oral and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments Excellent customer service skills; active listening skills Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; ability to negotiate and resolve conflictPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(NICE TO HAVE): Bilingual (Spanish) Prior cleaning or janitorial experience Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenanceBENEFITS
