Full Job Description Full Time:

Tuesday - Saturday (1:00pm to 9:30pm) Assist the Operations Supervisor with the daily management of assets and human resources including application of Company policies and procedures to achieve efficiency, profitability and good working relations with dispatch, owner-operators, customers and the public.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitoring thedispatch board for issues Calling driversthat are late Calling to set updrivers that do not arrive Monitoring thePDQ deliveries to ensure they are on time. Takes all callsfor the Omaha/Lincoln/South Dakota drivers to handle issues Provides drivercoverage for routes that the drivers call in on. Sends OS&Dreport Tuesday thru Sunday on PDQ for Omaha/Lincoln/South Dakota only on theweeks this person has call. Monitors theSalina Linehaul to ensure it is on time and notifies drivers when it is late. Sends Salina andGrand Island times to DSM dispatch to ensure an accurate report to CorporateAAP. Perform driverAudits to ensure compliance with customer guidelines and request. Make customercontact with I street and Saddlecreek hub 3 to 4 times a week to ensure theydon't have issues. Morning reportclean up to fix or enter any missing route data that was overlooked. Monitor the sortat APEX so that the drivers are working efficiently to get loaded and leave ontime. (Twice a Month) Driver Trainingon the MDU and retraining when drivers are having issues. Monitor the dailyreport and correct IC issues with Late arrival times. Responsible forthe rerouting of routes if we experience several delays due to traffic orconstruction. Takes call forDSM every other weekend and every other week. Coverage for DSMdispatch when they are on PTO or Sick time. Some travel betweenOmaha and Lincoln.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma required; but acollege degree is preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation and/or logistics. Fork-lift Experience High degree of self-discipline Outstanding verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills.
