POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of School Operations is a key leader responsible for ensuring the seamless day-to-day functioning of the organization while driving operational excellence across facilities, transportation, food services, and extended care programs. This role combines hands-on problem solving with strategic planning, offering the opportunity to lead impactful initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and the overall school environment. Lead and optimize daily operations across facilities, transportation, food services, and extended care programs Ensure a safe, compliant, and well-maintained environment aligned with local, state, and federal regulations Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and key operational and capital improvement projects Supervise, mentor, and support operational staff, fostering a strong, accountable, and collaborative team culture Manage budgets, track expenses, and drive operational efficiencies Identify and implement process improvements while contributing to long-term strategic planningQUALIFICATIONS
Experience leading operations, facilities, or multi-functional teams within a complex environment Strong understanding of compliance, safety standards, and operational best practices Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage priorities and drive results Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholders Resourceful, organized, and able to navigate a fast-paced, evolving environmentCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
