Stop Predatory Gambling is seeking a full-time Operations Director who will be a key player in a growing national organization dedicated to addressing this much-neglected problem and its harmful impacts on individuals, families, communities, and our country. You'll partner closely with leadership, engage with committed Board Members, and work with thousands of individuals and organizations from all 50 states in America. Summary of the Position The Operations Director is the right-hand person of the National Director, someone who will be engaged in almost all aspects of the day-to-day operations of a national non-profit organization that is scaling. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to play a critical role at a mission-driven organization working to change the national conversation around the institution of predatory gambling, America's most-neglected major problem. What You'll Do Engage in project management on several things at once involving potentially any aspect of the organization; Manage relationships across the organization with considerable personable warmth; Help to write white papers, fact sheets, and other materials; Serve primarily as the internal-facing manager for Stop Predatory Gambling while also contributing to the public-facing policy goals of the organization. This position works closely with the National Director and other team members to help support the overall goals and success of the organization. Stay aware of all the things happening and coming in and out of the organization; Be a gatekeeper who can help the National Director focus on the items that are going to most advance our agenda and elevate the organization; Help act as an integrator to ensure all the things we are involved with are connected to one another . This person would keep the needs of the whole organization in mind, not just a specific area of our work. Work with the basic technology we use like WordPress for our website, Microsoft software applications, and constituent relationship management (CRM) software. This role is likely to include involvement in virtually every aspect of our organization.
