After recent growth, we are looking to hire an Operations Manager to join our team! The Operations Manager will supervise activities of all accounts to ensure compliance with DPV operational requirements. This position is required to mentor, coach and counsel employees on a regular basis. As an Operations Manager you would be required to travel to each of our locations on the East Coast. General Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for appointed account management matters
- Forge and maintain relations of trust with clients and staff - Develops, implements, and reviews systems to increase department efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining a high quality of service delivery
- Maintain a working knowledge significant developments and trends in the Transportation field
- Displays flexibility with workload and schedule in order to meet operational needs
- Build an effective team of leaders by providing guidance and coaching to others.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years Management experience, preferred At least 4 years in the Transportation industry Experience in developing strategies and plans Must be able to travel CDL Holder with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements Strong understanding of measures of performance Strong problem-solving skills Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language Ability to communicate clear and effectively with all vendors, staff, customers and clients Must be deadline focused, organized and able to prioritize multiple projects Proficient computer skills including, email, record keeping, CRM, Microsoft Office productsBenefits:
