Operations Manager - Curricular Transformation About the Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY
This position is part of the Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning through Research (CATLR) team that collaborates across all of Northeastern's ten colleges to promote and support faculty professional development and networking in relation to AI in teaching and learning. The specific focus of this position relates to Northeastern's Curricular Transformation Initiative, with the goal of capacity-building in relation to integrating student AI Readiness development within coursework and faculty capacity-building in relation to teaching with AI. This will be a hybrid position in Boston location.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in education, learning experience design, or other related field, or significant experience in supporting faculty professional development within higher education. Effective communication, including verbal, written, and visual design. Exacting attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Experience with technology, especially those with implications for teaching and learning, including curiosity about emerging platforms and inclination to seek new understandings and improve their skillset Experience thriving in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and project-focused work environment. Experience tracking, documenting, and analyzing data associated with instructional experiences and programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1) Operations for the Curricular Transformation Initiative Coordinate, end-to-end, logistics and support for meetings, events and workshops Develop and maintain a communications infrastructure to ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication Interface across multiple University offices to manage and administer program operations logistics (e.g., college showcases) 2) Learning Design Coordinate and contribute to the development of instructional materials, including co-authorship, information design, graphics, video, and production (e.g., guidelines, handouts, agendas, reports, online educational resources) Organize and manage accumulating program assets (gather, process, organize artifacts generated through programmatic work). Sometimes this will include generating artifacts related to AI in Teaching and Learning. 3) Data Management Document, gather, track, and analyze data to determine program participation and impact Position Type General Administration Additional Information Northeastern University considers factors such as candidate work experience, education and skills when extending an offer. S Expected Hiring Range:
$60,315.00 - $85,192.50 With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role.
