Do you possess an eye for details and excellent communication skills? Can you sell tickets? Can you analyze trends in event data? Are you comfortable managing people as a player-coach: both doing the grunt work and keeping daily needs of the business on-task? We are looking for an Operations Manager who thrives in the fast-moving world of live event ticketing. You will wear many hats and be ever-changing environment where you are responsible for the following: overseeing certain members of our team, managing outside contract workers, handling orders from our VIP clients, managing customer service needs across all orders, prospecting to find new leads, managing ticket transfers from our wholesale partners, and actively working in and managing our pricing process. You must be comfortable taking on variety of tasks each day to ensure seamless service for our clients and inventory is selling without mistakes.
Responsibilities:
Keeping the daily operations of sales, purchasing, pricing and fulfillment on schedule. Processing ticket sales orders and handling event sales requests from retail customers, wholesale buyers or large marketplace partners. Managing event inventory and ensuring tickets are properly priced and listed on relevant exchanges. Overseeing quality control on sales, ticket order processing, pricing, and delivery. Acting as the liaison for ticket operations and pricing teams, communicating with both internal staff and external clients. Providing top-tier customer service, responding to inquiries, and assisting clients with buying tickets, selling tickets or offering their seats on consignment. Building and nurturing relationships with retail clients to support long-term business growth. Making sure our inventory is properly priced with the market.Requirements:
A passion for Boston sports teams, concerts and live events. Proven ability to work in a high-pressure, energetic environment where priorities change by the hour. Exceptional customer service skills and a collaborative team player mindset. Ability to work independently with little direction, because you know what needs to be done and can make sure you plus team are doing it. Strong time-management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle a variety of tasks. Attention to detail is a must! Able to quickly analyze event data to react and make pricing decisions that need to be made on the fly. Obsessive about pricing aspect of role to make sure we do not overlook any inventory or miss any chances to gain more sales on it. Strong relationship builder who can forge bonds with the top Ace Ticket customers. Confidence in ability to sell, price and manage other key aspects of the business. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on event schedules. Strong communication skills with coworkers, partners and clients. Able to process feedback in real-time and pivot instantly based on direct input from our owner.Details:
