The Williamstown Youth Center is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation located in Williamstown, Massachusetts, dedicated to providing quality recreational programs and activities for young people and their families. We deliver service through our all-day (summer camp, and other out-of-school days), after-school, and arts and athletics programs. With continued education efforts and expanded program offerings, the WYC will be a regional leader in supporting healthy, well-balanced living across our communities. The WYC is committed to becoming a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive space for all of our families.Position Overview:
This is a leadership role with a well-established community organization. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Business and Operations Director will support our mission by creating and implementing organization-wide management systems, including but not limited to human resources, information technology, children's records, program licensing, site maintenance, internal and external communications (including mandatory reporting), and scheduling. Potential for career advancement.Hiring Timeline:
The Williamstown Youth Center intends to fill this position as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed immediately. Outstanding candidates will be contacted for interviews. The interview process will consist of two rounds. The first will be with the Executive Director. The second will be the Executive Director and the President and Vice President of the WYC's Board of Directors.Attributes:

➢ Detail-oriented management of operations ➢ Act as Executive Director whenever E.D. is out of office ➢ Establish, implement, and monitor clear and effective record keeping ➢ Implement strong systems and processes, including incident reporting ➢ Manage and maintain licensing and other regulatory legal requirements ➢ Administer WYC property and facilities ➢ Serve as the liaison between the Executive Director, our membership, and their guardians ➢ Work closely with bookkeeper to ensure accurate data exchange ➢ Support management of key stakeholder relationships (including but not limited to the Community Chest, Select Board, Williamstown Elementary School, and Williams College) through superior organizational and communication skills ➢ Develop and manage strategic partnerships and collaborations that support programs, fundraising, and board development ➢ Produce communications and marketing strategies and materials that increase fundraising, programming, and participationQualifications, Experience & Competencies:
➢ Strong, detail-oriented organization skills ➢ Excellent speaking and writing skills with an ability to communicate in compelling ways across the full spectrum of audiences (children, parents/ guardians, teachers, donors, and business and community leaders) ➢ Mastery of technology in the workspace including but not limited to Microsoft Office and the Google Suite of applications. Experience with Daxko or other registration and record-keeping applications a plus. ➢ Commitment to outcomes-based performance management ➢ Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple budgets, timelines, and deliverables ➢ Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to take initiative, work independently, and tackle challenges and opportunities associated with growth ➢ Commitment to the Williamstown Youth Center's values which are to Collaborate (with colleagues, families, and partner institutions); Aspire (to grow, achieve, and learn); Respect (ourselves, others, and our surroundings); and Embrace (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, new challenges of every sort, new activities and opportunities.) ➢ Bachelor's Degree requiredCompensation:
$55,000 base salary, health care benefits, and a retirement plan with company contributions.
