Children's Manor and Magnet Montessori Schools (CMMS) is an early childhood education company dedicated to preparing children to excel in a global society by providing an academically rigorous, engaging, and supportive learning environment based on the Montessori method. We are seeking an Operations Coordinator/Manager who will work directly with the Director of Operations to manage and execute on business initiatives and school operations. By working with the company and school leadership, the individual will manage multiple projects, develop solutions for school/program challenges, identify weaknesses in operations and lead initiatives to strengthen them. Key Role and Responsibilities
  • Partner with school leadership to ensure smooth school operations in areas related to licensing, staffing, facilities and maintenance, classroom materials etc. Evaluate current operational needs/processes at the schools and assist in planning/execution for improvements.
  • Clearly and concisely convey information through both spoken and written words, while also demonstrating active listening, empathy, and confidence
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department to assist with student recruitment efforts and family events.
  • Work with academic leadership to ensure consistency and quality in the school learning environment across different campuses.
  • Partner with school leadership to foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for all stakeholders including students, families, and educators.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple diverse tasks such as documentation/manual creation, project research, event management, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to implement and execute system-wide initiatives, curricula, professional development, policies, procedures, and communications.
  • Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes.
  • Have the skills and confidence to use digital tools effectively, troubleshoot issues, and adapt to new systems
  • Must be flexible with hours and willing to roll up your sleeves and jump in to get projects done.
Education and Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience working in preK-12 school operations with direct experience in people management, project management, data analysis etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Operations, or related field
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse stakeholders in a school setting such as educators, families, and administrators. Direct experience in developing/implementing/evaluating programs, teacher training, admissions, school reviews, etc., is highly desirable.
  • Analytical and creative thinker with great attention to detail
  • Advanced project management skills with robust excel and data skillsets
  • Great written communication and interpersonal skills.
