Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a driven and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at a well-established landscaping company located in Federalsburg, Maryland. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly from the ground up. As our Operations Manager, you will be the backbone of our daily field operations; working closely with the owner and office staff to ensure every crew, contract, and client is managed with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day field operations including scheduling, dispatching, and ensuring completion of all service contracts. Oversee all active crews and delegate tasks to maintain productivity and quality standards. Create and dispatch daily work tickets and review all job tickets and route books for accuracy. Implement and perform job costing on all ongoing contracts. Monitor and manage daily digital time clock entries for all employees. Interface with maintenance clients to resolve service complaints and handle requests for additional services. Create and modify bid contracts and track all personnel performance-based raises. Work with the office administrator to generate daily and monthly job invoices. Verify inventories and assist in fleet management. Ensure all equipment is in working order and track repair status. Maintain digital filing of all daily forms and supporting documentation. Keep track of all business assets. Assist the owner with all other duties as assigned. Authority to hire and terminate employees.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
