Job Description

Supervisor:
Executive Director & Deputy Executive Director Direct Reports:
Residential Coordinators Job Summary:
Individual is responsible for operations management of agency. Oversee all operations, fiscal and personnel management. In charge of community relations, marketing and fund raising ventures.
Job Duties:
1. Operations Management a. Develop long-range plan for the agency in concert with the Executive Director and implement strategies to accomplish goals. b. Oversee all programs ensuring quality service delivery and a high standard of care. c. Develop new programs according to long range plan developed with the Executive Director & Program Committees. d. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met. e. Conduct program evaluations. f. Negotiate contracts for service delivery with Executive Directors collaboration. g. Schedule and attend PCP meetings h. Collaborate with clients' family members, CCSs, and others to deliver high standard of care i. Respond to crisis situations; on call duties j. Participate in intake and admission of new clients k. Ensure client information is up to date l. Review staff documentation and ensure that it is complete and accurate m. Liaise with CCSs, psychiatrists, and others to renew client waivers, generate PCPs, and behavior plans on time n. Work with Social Security Administration to get individuals' Social Security Income (SSI) o. Spearhead trainings on Behavior Plans and PCPs 2. Fiscal Management a. Develop annual budget in concert with the Finance Manager & Committee. b. Ensure programs and services are within budgetary guidelines. c. Manage individuals' funds 3. Board Relations a. Works with the Executive Director to encourage and facilitate useful Board involvement. b. Works with the Executive Director to provide regular written and oral reports to the Board, and to the President of the Board, of the operations of the agency. c. Works with the Executive Director to inform the Board of local, regional, or national developments affecting IHCOS Care Associates, Inc. services. d. Serve as ex officio on all standing committees and provide appropriate support. 4. Community Relations a. Develop and maintain good relations with referral sources. b. Work collaboratively with referral sources to develop Requests for Service Change (when applicable). c. Develop Service Funding Plans (SFP) and work collaboratively with DDA for approval. d. Participate in community groups and activities that benefit IHCOS's mission. e. Advocate locally, regionally, and nationally as appropriate for individuals welfare & policies that will improve services for the population served. f. Work collaboratively with psychologists and other professionals in the development of client behavior plans. 5. Marketing and Fund raising a. Develop marketing plan in conjunction with the Executive Director and implement strategies. b. Assist with fund raising endeavors. c. Help attract more clients. 6. Personnel Management a. Participate in the development of personnel policies in conjunction with the Executive Committee. b. Ensure personnel policies are properly implemented. c. Ensure personnel records are maintained when applicable. d. Directly recruit, supervise and provide for the professional development of administrative staff and auxiliary staff. e. Participate in the recruitment, supervision, training and termination of all staff when applicable.
Requirements:
1. Master's Degree in the Social Sciences, Psychology, Health Care Management, Public Health or related 2. Five years of direct practice with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. 3. Two years as an administrative staff of a residential program
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of developmental Disabilities and mental disorders 2. Knowledge of individual's residential care 3. Ability to evaluate and design residential programs 4. Ability to perform administrative duties 5. Ability to supervise professional staff 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday On call duties 8 hours including break
