Northern Area Manager:

Casco Bay Food and Beverage is seeking a results-driven and hands-on Northern Area Manager to lead and oversee operations across our Northern Maine market. This full time, exempt role is responsible for driving operational excellence, leading multiple departments, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, safety, and team performance. The Northern Area Manager plays a critical leadership role in executing company strategy, improving operational efficiency, and developing a high-performing team across culinary, route delivery, and support functions.

What You'll Do:

Leadership & Operations Oversee daily operations of the Northern area, including Culinary Center, Route Delivery Operations, and support staff Provide direction, coaching, and development to direct reports including the Culinary Center Manager, Route Supervisor, and Jumpers Conduct daily check-ins and regular site audits to ensure quality, service, and operational standards are met Review and approve timecards, manage scheduling, and control overtime Performance & Strategy Drive area performance through KPIs, operational metrics, and financial targets Develop and implement area-level business and operational plans aligned with company goals Analyze reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement Lead efforts to increase sales, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction Safety & Compliance Promote and enforce a strong culture of safety across all operations Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions Lead and support participation in monthly safety meetings Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations Team Development & Culture Train, mentor, and develop employees to build a strong and engaged workforce Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback Foster a positive, team-oriented environment aligned with Casco Bay's values Address employee relations issues in partnership with HR as needed Customer & Market Focus Ensure exceptional service across all customer locations Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally Identify local market opportunities to support growth and expansion Operational Oversight Manage inventory processes, variances, and product movement through supervisory staff Oversee route efficiency, scheduling, and quarterly route optimization Ensure accurate system data including transfers, inventory, and equipment tracking Coordinate with other Area Managers to share best practices and drive consistency What We're Looking For Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of management experience preferred Experience in operations, food service, distribution, or vending is a plus Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team development skills Results-driven with a focus on achieving operational goals Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability Strong communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Customer-focused mindset Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements Work Environment & Physical Requirements Regular local travel within the Northern Maine area Exposure to varying weather conditions and cooler environments Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently and up to 55 lbs. occasionally Pushing/pulling carts up to 200 lbs. Extended work hours and occasional weekends as needed

Up to $65,000.00 per year
