Senior Guest Services Manager Salary:
$23-27 (Equivalent to salary for 10 months may take pay over 12) The actual pay is based on whether the candidate can simply run daily operations, or if they can run the operations, plus manage the responsibility of building and growing the ski school business (Budget & Revenue). Saddleback is looking for a passionate, hands-on Snowsports Manager to help lead the Roger Page Ski & Ride School and support the continued growth of our mountain community. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys balancing operations, staff leadership, guest experience, and on-snow culture. From coaching instructors and supporting families to overseeing daily operations and helping shape future programming, the Snowsports Manager plays a key role in the Saddleback experience. Job Summary The Snowsports Manager oversees the daily operations of the Roger Page Ski & Ride School, including staffing, scheduling, training, seasonal programming, and guest experience. The Roger Page Ski & Ride school team has approximately 60 instructors. This role works closely with supervisors, instructors, and resort leadership to ensure smooth daily operations while fostering a positive and supportive culture for both staff and guests. This is a hands-on leadership position that includes supporting daily operations on snow and indoors, assisting guests and staff, and helping guide the future growth of Snowsports programming at Saddleback. Essentials duties/ Responsibility Lead daily operations of the Ski & Ride School including staffing, scheduling, and lesson coordination Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and support instructors and supervisors Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture Support instructor development through clinics, training, and certifications Oversee youth programs, seasonal programs, private lessons, and group lessons Work closely with Guest Services, Rentals, Patrol, Marketing, and Resort Leadership Help manage labor, payroll reporting, budgets, and operational planning Maintain strong guest service standards and assist with service recovery when needed Support product setup, scheduling systems, and operational communication Be present and visible during daily operations, including teaching lessons when needed Help maintain a safe, organized, and fun learning environment for guests and staff Required Skills / Abilities Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Previous supervisory or management experience Passion for skiing, snowboarding, guest service, and staff development Ability to work in a fast-paced mountain environment Experience working with children, families, and seasonal programs
PSIA/AASI
Level I certification or equivalent experience preferred Familiarity with RTP, Flaik, Google Workspace, or similar systems is a plus Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak vacation periods Position includes a mix of administrative, operational, and on-snow responsibilities Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions for extended periods Ability to ski or snowboard varied terrain and assist with physical operational tasks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Education and Experience
PSIA/AASI
Level II certification preferred, but we are willing to work with the right candidate. Two years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. Strong skiing or riding skills required. Experience teaching snowsports and leading teams is a plus.
