Lorenzo Cultural Center (LCC), Macomb Organization for Retiree Enrichment (MORE), and Macomb Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA). Job Responsibilities Assist the director in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures. Stewardship of MCPA and LCC donors as needed or directed. Coordinate the planning and execution of donor events and benefits. This includes details such as invitations, catering, menus, set-up, etc. Serve as liaison between the MCC Foundation Office and
MCPA/LCC.
Coordinate annual giving campaigns, including data entry and reporting through the college's fund development software. Assist in the preparation and oversight of contracts and agreements for LCC and MORE with presenters and artists including paperwork, payment schedules and check requests. Coordinate travel, housing and food as well as prepare itineraries for visiting artists. Coordinate and oversee the preparation and processing of accounts receivable and payable with college financial services for LCC and MORE. Oversee the preparation and processing of non-ticket revenue, including rental, sponsorships, advertising, donation stations, novelty and concession sales for LCC and MORE programs. Assist in the preparation of the LCC and MORE budgets. Coordinate, prepare and oversee all journal entries, budget revisions, requisitions, blanket orders and BPOs for LCC and MORE. Serve as communication liaison between Cultural Center and telecommunications, IT, Campus Security, and Plant Operations. Assist the Marketing and Sales Manager as needed to process marketing requests, invoices, and reporting. Maintain appropriate related records as needed, including the physical and material organization and inventory of department files and historical materials. May attend meetings with or on behalf of the Director. May provide management and operational support as needed in all areas of the department, including MCPA, or as directed. Represent the department on campus committees as requested. Perform other appropriate duties as assigned. Education Associate degree or greater from an accredited institution in the arts, business or related fields is required. Qualifications Two years' related experience, including evidence of good organizational skills, communication skills, project oversight and management and accounting and financial processes.
