Job Description
Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is looking for a proven operations leader to join our team as an Elevator Superintendent in Hastings, Nebraska. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agricultural environment and wants to make a direct impact on safety, efficiency, grain quality, and team performance. In this role, you will lead all elevator operations at our soy processing facility, overseeing grain handling, drying, storage, inventory accuracy, shipping, maintenance coordination, and employee development. You'll work alongside experienced leadership teams in a company that values operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Lead all elevator operations including grain receiving, drying, storage, conditioning, and outbound shipments. Drive a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Oversee grain quality, inventory accuracy, grading processes, and recordkeeping to maintain operational integrity. Partner with the Marketing team to coordinate commodity receiving and shipping schedules efficiently. Collaborate closely with plant leadership and other facility teams to support seamless operations across departments. Ensure scale systems, grading equipment, and material-handling equipment are maintained and operating efficiently. Supervise, coach, train, and develop employees while building a strong, accountable team culture. Monitor operational performance, maintenance activities, and key metrics while preparing reports, budgets, and forecasts. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall facility performance. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. 5+ years of grain elevator, agribusiness, shipping/receiving, or related operational experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial or agricultural environment. Strong understanding of grain handling, grading, drying, storage, and inventory management. Experience operating and troubleshooting grain facility equipment and systems, including scales, testing/grading equipment, and grain drying systems. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on operations environment. Why Join Us?
