Job Description

Operations Manager - Industrial / Manufacturing A national company with a facility in the Metro Detroit, Michigan area is currently seeking an Operations Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity with their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager looking for a company that offers excellent leadership opportunities, strong team culture, career growth, and competitive benefits. Local candidates are preferred, but relocation assistance may be available for well-qualified candidates. Operations Manager rates are anticipated to be based on each candidate's experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Qualified Operations Managers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience: 5+ years of recent/relevant Operations Management experience within an industrial, manufacturing, service, or related environment 5+ years of recent/relevant supervisory or department leadership experience is highly preferred Experience overseeing administrative operations including onboarding, payroll coordination, timecard reviews, and HR support activities Experience coordinating facility operations including building maintenance, vendor management, fleet coordination, safety programs, and inventory activities Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office experience, especially with Excel and Word SAP Business One experience is highly desirable Experience with operational process improvements, reporting functions, and continuous improvement initiatives A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is beneficial but not essential. Equivalent operations management and leadership experience will be strongly considered Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered) Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background check, drug screen, references, etc.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
