Job Description
Position Summary The Director of Product Management serves as a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the long-term vision for TERREPOWER's industrial product portfolio. This role drives enterprise-level growth by aligning product strategy, innovation, and go-to-market execution with evolving market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive benchmarks. The Director will own end-to-end product lifecycle leadership, from ideation and development through commercialization and end-of-life, while ensuring tight cross-functional integration across Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Pricing, and Operations. as a market leader in the industrial space by accelerating adoption, expanding share, and delivering differentiated solutions across core and growth segments. Responsibilities Lead the Industrial Product team to drive an aggressive new product development schedule and manage four product categories: Rotating Electric, Braking, Turbos, Hydraulics. Within those four categories are ten industrial products (Starters, Alternators, Air disc calipers, hydraulic calipers, Vehicle turbos, industrial turbos, turbo actuators, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and valves). Develop and execute individual product market strategies and market share roadmaps for both existing core products and the identified industrial strategic growth portfolio including pricing, profitability channel management for both OES (CV and Industrial OEMs) and IAM. Regularly evaluate product, financial performance, and quality relative to established annual market share objectives and recommend and implement enhancements to ensure goals achieved. External line reviews with strategic customers supporting customer's market success. Measure, mentor and develop Industrial manager personnel (7 direct reports) to ensure personal and professional goals are achieved. Industrial value proposition. Including internal and external training. Direct the Catalog Team to analyze and prioritize gaps in product coverage, and to research and recommend the addition of late model applications needed to maintain market leadership, and to provide all necessary catalog data to our Channel Partners. Project management of timely production launches. Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to proactively identify growth and innovation opportunities. Ensure strong business performance through pricing strategy, profitability management, accurate product data, and disciplined launch execution. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Technical, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. 10+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, or related commercial leadership roles within industrial, CV, heavy‑duty, or manufacturing environments. Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi‑category product portfolios across mechanical, electromechanical, or hydraulic products. Proven success developing and executing product market strategies and market share roadmaps within OES (CV and Industrial OEMs) and/or IAM channels. Strong background in new product development, lifecycle management, pricing, and profitability optimization. Prior ownership or strong influence over portfolio financial performance, including revenue growth, margin, and investment prioritization. Data ‑ driven decision maker with strong business acumen and attention to operational rigor. Proficiency with standard business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); comfort using data to drive alignment and accountability.Similar remote jobs
