Salary Range:
$90,000•$110,000 (based on experience) + performance incentives Overview We are a rapidly growing business-to-business cannabis transportation and logistics company serving licensed cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers across Minnesota. Our mission is to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient transportation solutions that support the integrity and scalability of the regulated cannabis supply chain. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Operations to lead daily logistics execution, regulatory compliance oversight, and team performance across our transportation network. Position Summary The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing all transportation and distribution activities, ensuring compliance with Minnesota cannabis regulations, optimizing routing and fleet utilization, and leading cross-functional operational teams. This role reports directly to executive leadership and plays a key role in scaling operations as the regional market expands. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all day-to-day transportation and distribution operations Ensure full compliance with Minnesota cannabis regulatory requirements and chain-of-custody procedures Oversee fleet scheduling, routing efficiency, and delivery performance metrics Manage and mentor operations staff, drivers, and dispatch personnel Develop SOPs and continuously improve logistics workflows Coordinate with licensed cannabis partners to support reliable B2B fulfillment Monitor KPIs related to delivery timelines, security protocols, and cost control Partner with executive leadership on operational strategy and expansion planning Implement safety, risk mitigation, and incident response protocols Support licensing audits and compliance inspections Qualifications 5+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain operations Experience working in regulated industries preferred (cannabis, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, or similar) Strong knowledge of compliance-driven transportation environments Proven ability to manage teams and scale operational systems Experience with routing software, dispatch systems, and logistics analytics tools Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred Preferred Experience Cannabis transportation or distribution operations Fleet management oversight Startup or high-growth operational scaling METRC or cannabis inventory tracking platforms What We Offer Competitive salary ($90,000•$110,000) Performance-based incentives Leadership role in a high-growth regulated industry Opportunity to shape operational strategy in an emerging market Collaborative executive team environment
