Site Operations Manager

Plant Start-up Location:
Mankato, Minnesota We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Operations Manager to join the launch of a brand-new, fully automated plant, opening soon in Mankato, Minnesota. You're seeking a full-time, permanent position that combines cutting-edge automation with excellent benefits and long-term career growth, this is the role for you. This state-of-the-art facility will feature the latest technology in automation and systems integration. Prior to the site launch, full training will be provided at our operational centers in Canada. All expenses are paid, and the training is fully compensated. You will be supported by a team of experts and benefit from one of the most competitive benefits packages in the industry. You have at least 5 years of experience as an Operations Manager in the manufacturing industry and you are looking to join a globally renowned company and play a key role in launching a fully automated, state-of-the-art facility from the ground up?

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related field-Minimum 5 years of experience as an Operations Manager
  • Strong background in manufacturing environments
  • Proficient in budgeting and financial management
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S. for training purposes until site is operational (+
  • 6 months)
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the production, maintenance, HR, and IT support teams, ensuring effective product management and inventory control, with health and safety as a core value
  • Define, communicate, and align the goals and objectives of both the service support and onsite teams
  • Provide strategic direction for the facility by identifying operational challenges and implementing proactive, data-driven solutions to enhance productivity and sustainability
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a strong safety culture aimed at achieving zero incidents
  • Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to proactively improve workplace safety
  • Act as a team builder, coach, and trainer, promoting a culture of collaboration and high performance
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and ensure consistent, transparent communication between departments
  • Maintain open and effective communication with key stakeholders at the head office
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the customer, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
  • Foster a collaborative and value-driven relationship with the customer to ensure mutual success
  • Recruit, train, manage, and guide team members to meet or exceed performance metrics and goals
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs that promote teamwork and continuous improvement
