Job Description

Job Description What is the opportunity? This role offers a strategic position within RBC Operations where you will serve as a key driver of organizational change and improvement. You will lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and service delivery across the Operations department. Working collaboratively with internal teams, senior management, and external vendors, you will have the opportunity to influence how RBC operates at a fundamental level. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a tangible impact on business outcomes through project leadership, business analysis, and strategic vendor management. What will you do?
Project Leadership:
Oversee design, development, and implementation of Operations initiatives; manage project scope, resources, and timelines; develop proposals and work plans
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain regular dialogue with management, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
Business Analysis:
Conduct requirements analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and process improvement recommendations using industry-standard tools
Risk Management:
Identify, analyze, and monitor risks; ensure compliance with regulatory and firm frameworks
Quality Assurance:
Design tracking and reporting mechanisms; develop vendor scorecards; establish quality standards across departments
Training & Development:
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to department managers and Operations staff
Process Support:
Partner with department managers to resolve issues and facilitate knowledge transfer across Operations What do you need to succeed? Must-have Securities license 7 or 99 (or able to obtain license within 120 days) Strong business analysis skills with proficiency in industry-standard tools Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities Vendor management experience and risk analysis capabilities Knowledge of Operations processes and service delivery frameworks Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and internal RBC frameworks Nice-to-have Familiarity with RBC's specific systems, processes, or organizational structure Experience with training and mentoring programs Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging operational trends Technical expertise in tools such as Access Database, SQL, JSON, Excel, and Visual Basic What's in it for you? This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
