Position Overview The Director of Telecom Managed Services is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of managed telecom services across enterprise and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) environments. This leader oversees the full service lifecycle—including installation, provisioning, maintenance, and repair—ensuring high-quality, reliable service delivery at scale. The role requires deep expertise in telecommunications infrastructure, managed services operations, and field service execution, with a strong focus on customer experience, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:

• Define and execute managed services and field operations strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Improve speed-to-install, first-time-right performance, and repair efficiency.

Service Delivery, Installation & Repair Operations:

• Lead installation, provisioning, and repair operations.
• Improve install cycle time, MTTR, and reduce repeat truck rolls.

Customer Experience:

• Ensure seamless experience from installation through support.
• Drive CSAT and NPS improvements.

Field Workforce & Operational Excellence:

• Lead technicians, dispatch, and field managers.
• Implement training, safety, and routing optimization.

Financial Management:

• Own P&L and drive operational efficiency.

Vendor Management:

• Manage and negotiate with contractors and service partners.

Technology & Innovation:

• Implement workforce tools, automation, and remote diagnostics.

Team Leadership:

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years telecom experience, 5+ in leadership.
• Experience managing installation, repair, and field operations.
• Strong telecom infrastructure knowledge.

Preferred:

• MDU or fiber experience.
• ITIL, PMP, or telecom certifications. KPIs
• Installation cycle time
• First-time-right install rate
• Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
• SLA compliance
• Customer satisfaction
• Technician productivity Work Environment Fast-paced, operational environment with field and office collaboration.

Travel may be required.
