ABOUT US
Torque Motorsports is a high-end performance and custom automotive shop specializing in: Full Builds & Restorations, Engine swaps (Coyote, LS, etc.) Custom Fabrication, Lifted trucks, Performance Vehicles, and Specialty Projects. We are building something bigger than a shop — a brand, a machine, and a scalable operation.
YOUR MISSION
Take full ownership of: Shop profitability, Technician performance, daily workflow & throughput customer communication systems, operational systems + automation. Your job is to remove chaos, increase output, and maximize profit per vehicle.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Profit & Performance Track labor efficiency billed vs clocked hours increase effective labor rate & parts margins Analyze profitability per job (RO) Identify and eliminate profit leaks Workflow & Throughput Optimize bay usage, lift scheduling, and job flow Eliminate downtime between phases (teardown → repair → delivery) Increase cars completed per week without sacrificing quality Pay Plans & Team Performance, Design and implement tech pay plans (flat rate / hybrid / bonus) Align incentives with speed, quality, and profitability Hold team accountable to performance metrics Communication Systems Implement consistent customer updates (text/email cadence) Improve estimate approvals and upsell processes Build a seamless internal communication flow Systems & Automation Implement or optimize shop management software Build CRM and follow-up systems, Integrate automation for lead handling and scheduling
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You are: A systems thinker, not just a task manager. Obsessed with efficiency, numbers, and output. Experienced in running or scaling a $5M-$10M+ shop. Strong with people AND performance metrics. Able to walk into chaos and build structure fast. You are
NOT:
Just a foreman or Just a service writer or Someone who needs hand-holding
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
(FIRST 90 DAYS): Increased shop throughout, Clear enforced workflow systems, Defined tech pay structure implemented, Improved communication with customers, Measurable increase in profit per job
COMPENSATION
Base Salary:
$70,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
Performance Bonus:
Tied directly to shop profitability & growth. High upside for the right operator

Lake of the Ozarks / Osage Beach, Missouri. One of the greatest places on the earth in my opinon. Some of the best clients and people around at one of the nations best lakes.
